Archimedes Global, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business headquartered in Tampa, announced that it has won an award on the United States Navy's Seaport-e IDIQ (indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity) multiple award contract. Seaport-e is the Navy's preferred contract vehicle to acquire engineering, technical, logistics, program management, and financial support services across 22 functional areas. "We are pleased to be awarded this prime contract," said Archimedes CEO Duane Anderson, "as it allows us to deploy our core engineering and mission support strengths for US Navy and Marine requirements."
Seaport-e is designed to streamline the procurement of professional services by contract participants, to include the Navy System Commands--NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, NAVSUP--as well as the US Marine Corps and the Office of Naval Research, among others.
